EQUIPMENT PURCHASE PROPOSAL



Overview:

The growing number of Authorized Service Centers coming onboard our company has created the need to purchase equipment necessary to begin training employees from these companies, in the efficient repair of our products at the QSC Audio University.


Background Statement:

The only projector the company had broke down last fall. This situation leaves the company without an important training piece of equipment that we now must have. Training Authorized Service Centers on how to quickly repair our products to keep our customers satisfied is of paramount importance, for it results in repeat business and brand loyalty. Since both QSC and Authorized Service Centers agree that technical training will be a mutually beneficial enterprise, the demand for such training is expected to grow quickly. In order to satisfy the demand for training and formally instate the QSC Audio University, I hereby request the purchase of six projectors.


Goals and Objectives:

The goals are to show an attitude of professionalism toward our Service Centers; this attitude will be reflected in meeting their needs in such a way that results in a relationship that is mutually beneficial. The objective is to provide high-quality training to our Service Centers so that they can easily and efficiently service our product.


Clientele:

Our specific clientele are our local and domestic Authorized Service Centers, local and domestic dealers, export companies, local distributors and international distributors.


Method:

Purchasing projectors for training purposes will be instrumental, for it will accelerate the dissemination of information our clientele needs to successfully meet everyone’s financial goals and objectives.


Staff and Administration:

The Training Manager will be responsible for the use, care and maintenance of training equipment; the Training Manager will issue equipment to course instructors who in turn, are responsible for the proper use of company equipment. When projector equipment is not being use for training purposes it may be borrowed from Sales or Engineering departments for conferencing purposes.


Available Resources:

Presently, QSC Audio has two training rooms, two conference rooms, several computers, designated training products and capable training personnel necessary to successfully deliver professional-grade training for our clientele.


Needed Equipment:

There exists the need to purchase six conference-quality projectors; two projectors, one for each of the training rooms and two projectors, one for each of the conference rooms, leaving two additional spare projectors, one for a conference room and one for a meeting room respectively.


Needed Resources:

Professional-quality projectors are expected to cost $1,000.00 each; the total funding needed for six projectors is $6,300.00, plus $1000.00 for a one-year maintenance and repair contract.


Evaluation Plan:

A QSC Audio University Authorization Certificate will be issued to an Authorized Service Technician upon successfully passing the student training test; also, a survey/questionnaire will be used at the conclusion of a training, to assess the effectiveness of the project and to evaluate any changes or improvements as these are deemed necessary.
